Affiliate Disclosure

How this site earns money, who pays us, and the rules that keep it from changing what we recommend.

Last updated: August 23, 2026

Quench Nest is funded by affiliate commissions. If you click a link here and buy something, we may earn a commission. You pay the same price either way.

The short version

Many outbound product links on this site are affiliate links. When you follow one and complete a purchase, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale. Nothing is added to your price, and nothing changes about your order, your warranty or your returns.

That is the entire commercial model of this site. There are no ads sold by us, no sponsored posts, no paid rankings and no newsletter list being monetised.

FTC disclosure

In accordance with the United States Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising, we disclose that Quench Nest has a material connection with the retailers and programs listed below, in the form of affiliate commission on qualifying purchases. This disclosure appears on this page, in our site footer, and near affiliate links within our content.

Amazon Associates

Our primary affiliate relationship is the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.

Product prices and availability shown on Amazon are accurate as of the date and time of purchase and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase applies to the purchase of that product.

Other affiliate programs

From time to time we participate in other affiliate networks and direct merchant programs covering beverage equipment, kitchen appliances and outdoor gear. Where we do, the same rules apply: disclosure near the link, no effect on your price, and no influence on our conclusions.

How this affects what we recommend

Affiliate funding creates an obvious incentive to say yes to everything. Here is how we manage that, stated plainly enough that you can hold us to it.

  • Conclusions come before commerce. We decide what the research supports, then add links. Not the other way round.
  • We publish limitations beside strengths. Every product we cover gets its drawbacks named, in the same type size as its advantages.
  • We recommend against things. If the evidence says a product or a whole category is a poor buy for a given situation, we say so, even where a link would earn.
  • Commission rates do not decide rankings. We do not favour a product because it pays more, and we do not order lists by payout.
  • We accept no payment for placement. No brand has ever been able to buy a position, a rating or a mention on this site, and none ever will.
  • We take no samples for review. Since we research rather than test, samples cannot inform our work, so we do not request or accept them.

What our commission does not change

Your price is identical whether you use our link or type the retailer’s address yourself. Affiliate commission is paid by the retailer out of its own margin.

Your purchase, delivery, warranty, returns and customer service are entirely between you and the retailer. We are not a party to the transaction and cannot process an order, a refund or a warranty claim.

Our recommendations are research based

Worth repeating on this page, because it bears directly on how you should weigh our links. We do not test products hands on. Our recommendations are built from manufacturer specifications, published manuals and documentation, and verified owner reviews. Read our Disclaimer for the full description of the method and its limits.

Where you will see disclosure

  • On this page, in full.
  • In the site footer, on every page.
  • Near the top of any page that contains affiliate links, before the first one appears.
  • Beside individual product recommendations and buying guide picks.
