Terms of Use
What you can do with our content, what you cannot, and how to report a copyright problem.
Last updated: August 23, 2026
These Terms of Use set out what you may do with the content published on https://quenchnest.com, what you may not do, and how to report a copyright problem.
How this fits with our other terms
This page deals specifically with content, permitted use and copyright enforcement. Our Terms and Conditions cover the broader agreement, including liability, governing law and eligibility. Where the two overlap, read them together.
Your licence to use this content
You are welcome to read, print and save pages from this site for your own personal, non commercial use. You may share a link to any page freely, and we would rather you linked than copied.
You may quote a short extract for the purpose of commentary, criticism, review or news reporting, provided you clearly attribute it to Quench Nest and include a working link to the page you took it from.
What you may not do
- Reproduce our content without permission. Republishing articles, guides, comparison tables or substantial extracts anywhere else, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent.
- Use our content commercially. Selling, licensing, syndicating or otherwise commercially exploiting anything published here.
- Scrape or access the site automatically. Using bots, crawlers, spiders, scripts or any automated method to harvest content, images, tables or structured data, other than the ordinary indexing carried out by mainstream search engines in accordance with our robots directives.
- Mine our content for machine learning. Collecting or using content from this site to train, fine tune or evaluate machine learning or generative models, without our prior written consent. We expressly reserve our rights in this respect.
- Create derivative works. Rewriting, spinning, translating or restructuring our content to produce substantially similar material elsewhere.
- Remove or obscure attribution. Stripping copyright notices, bylines, disclosures or source labels from any permitted copy.
- Frame or mirror the site. Presenting our pages inside your own site, or hosting a copy of them, in a way that suggests the content is yours.
- Misrepresent a relationship. Implying that Quench Nest endorses, sponsors, supplies or is affiliated with you, your products or your website when it does not.
Technical access rules
Automated access that places an unreasonable load on our servers, ignores our robots directives, disguises its identity, or attempts to bypass rate limiting or access controls is not permitted. We may block addresses or networks that do any of these things, without notice.
Trademarks
The Quench Nest name and any associated logos and marks are ours. You may not use them in your own branding, domain names, advertising or metadata without written permission. Third party brand names and product marks appearing on this site remain the property of their owners and are used descriptively.
Copyright complaints and DMCA notices
We respect intellectual property rights and we expect the same in return. If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to legal@quenchnest.com containing all of the following.
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail and a direct URL for us to locate it.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
We review valid notices promptly and will remove or disable access to material where the claim is well founded. Incomplete notices may be returned for the missing information.
Counter notification
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter notice to the same address. It must identify the removed material and its previous location, include a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief it was removed in error, and include your name, address, telephone number and consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal court.
Please contact us before escalating
Most copyright problems we receive turn out to be honest mistakes, such as an image credit that did not carry across or a quotation that ran longer than it should have.
A short email to legal@quenchnest.com usually resolves those within a day, and we would much rather fix something quickly than argue about it.
Reporting other problems
If you find content on this site that is inaccurate, defamatory, unlawful or otherwise harmful, tell us at hello@quenchnest.com with the page URL and a short explanation. We investigate every report we receive.
Enforcement
We may take any step available to us to enforce these terms, including blocking access, filing takedown requests with hosts and search engines, and pursuing legal remedies. Nothing on this page limits any right or remedy otherwise available to us.
Changes
We may update these Terms of Use as the site develops or as the law changes. The date at the top of the page reflects the current version.
